Evangelism Team Trip
September 8-20, 2021
After a time of prayer and commissioning on the morning of Wednesday, September 8, the team departed for Newark Airport. They arrived in Bucharest and immediately the the ministry work commenced with new partner meetings before traveling to Galati to prepare for several events Friday-Sunday.

The Evangelism Team had the privilege of jumping into ministry with 70 kids and 30 volunteers in Friday’s continuation of the summer English Camp. Similar to the first three days in July, the kids enjoyed working on their English, learning a Bible story, making new friends, and competing in super fun sporting activities. Jeremy was also able to give the kids a gospel challenge to wrap up the day!

In the evening, TMFC was blessed to host in partnership with Hope Church an evangelism equipping event “See the Harvest!” After an anointed time of worship, Theresa and Jeremy were able to challenge and inspire around 70 believers regarding their call and privilege of sharing the gospel with the people of Galati. It was a great night of preparation for Saturday’s “Impact the City” event when numerous teams hit the streets by the Public Garden and Danube Cliff to share the gospel.

On Saturday morning, TMFC hosted a women’s ministry event themed Revelation to Radiance. Theresa encouraged 150 women to grow deeper in their faith. Many women were blessed and encouraged.

After a great weekend in Galati, Romania where hundreds of people heard the gospel or were motivated to share the gospel, Ten Million for Christ’s Evangelism Team hit the road for Peles Castle and then on to Transylvania and a little town in the mountains called, Baru.
During the course of two days, the E-Team inspired believers from a couple of different churches to share the gospel with greater passion, prayed for revival in the region, invested into the lives of the 11 children at the House of Hope, and enjoyed some round table discussion with the local mayor’s staff.

Another memorable event included the small group of women from Bethel Church who were blessed by Theresa’s and Alyssa’s encouragement to embrace their crucial role in building God’s Kingdom. The two days were also punctuated by a laundry stop that turned into great fellowship around the table with a local Orthodox priest and his family. It was a unique ministry visit where the E-team was refreshed by God’s creativity in the fabulous Carpathian mountains and then witnessed His power working through them to strengthen the church, deepen TMFC partnerships, and plant many gospel seeds. God wants to bring revival in Baru!

The E-Team’s last ministry engagement unfolded in Cluj-Napoca, the “Heart of Transylvania.” After a special surprise for Theresa where she was reunited with two Romanian friends she met in a church in Jerusalem, Jeremy and the team threw themselves into building friendships with the YWAM Cluj staff, and then in partnership with them, hosted a busy weekend of events. These included an evangelism seminar, a women’s gathering “From Discovery to Illumination,” and an “impact-the-city” street witnessing celebration of the gospel! The team will always remember their participation with the church plant on Sunday and the open-air fellowship meal that followed!

Their weekend in Cluj wrapped up with a special excursion to a small town called Bontida. Theresa’s friends from Jerusalem and their parents hosted the team for a beautiful evening of fellowship, traditional Romanian food, and robust discussion about grace, good deeds and salvation. Jeremy even got to drive his first Romanian tractor as a prelude to the great times around the dinner table! It was a fitting finale to the weekend and the 12-day ministry trip where God led the E-team and Ten Million for Christ into breakthrough impact, increasing favor with the church, and growth in His Kingdom!
